Longtime readers of this journal will remember the constant follower who called herself jenlev -- a person I always sensed was a good and gentle nature, though of course that's merely an impression.  Jenlev loved birds, especially ravens and crows, and photographed them constantly.  I used one of her pictures as a Facebook icon (and still do).  We corresponded outside social media about birds and other things,

Her emails always ended with this quote:

"If my words did glow
with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played
on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice
come through the music
Would you hold it near
as it were your own?"

Jen died of cancer on October 25th.

Thank you for your obituary...it's always sad when users who seem sometimes so near to us vanish without a trace from the internet.

R.I.P. Jen

I didn't knew you but as a birdlover I dedicate this little fellow to you: http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/dalaruan/13984359/56841/56841_original.jpg

These interactions with real and valuable individuals are precious because they were detetmined to find and engage with us. They make us real beyond our own circumstances and reflect our efforts back to us with real appreciation. Jenlev is now known to me, too. Her Crowley crow is part of her legacy. It's a beautiful circle of effects. Thank you for telling.
