In New Haven overnight last night and clicking through the TV channels as is my wont in hotel bedrooms (only six or eight at home) and I came, as in a dream, across Connecticut public access TV, whereonnegothick was answering audience questions after a lecture about the Three Stooges films.  All the little I know about her makes this highly unlikely, but then again, I know very little about her.  In a few moments, as in a dream, she was gone again.

Ah, but you know so little about her flickering secret lives...

It was not a dream
I published one article on the Stooges and the "erased" Yiddish tradition of physical comedy. It has earned me more gigs (and even more cash) than anything else I've published. I just got off the phone with someone asking for another appearance in New Haven, same topic, different venue.
Hmmm . . .someone at my presentation at the NH Public LIbrary back in February asked if he could tape and promised me a copy, but since I never heard from him again, I didn't realize he actually created a video. It would have been for New Haven's public access cable channel (which I can't receive where I am, 50 miles away). This must have been the end of the program: my band played for about 15 minutes of Yiddish theater songs, then I spoke for 45, then questions.
I must get hold of the librarian and ask her whether she received a copy.
Thanks for letting me know!

Sounds a bit like a scene from Life on Mars. That was a BBC series in which a modern day police detective is hit by a car and wakes up in 1973. He suspects he's in a coma and hallucinating the whole thing; he regularly hears voices on television that sound like doctors discussing his condition.
