Visit yesterday -- paradigmatic Spring in New England day -- from my personal publisher Ron Drummond, who brought by some initial test proofs of pictures by Peter Milton that we might use for Litlle Big 25. It's astonishing to me how many of the exquisite details (and some of the whole pictures) are intensely relevant to moments in LB: not illustrating them exactly, but reflecting them. I know the idea of using pre-existing art in the book has puzzled some people but if you look at Milton's work (you can get to his web site via the LB 25 site littlebig25.com)and you know my book you'll see why I think it's a great idea. The pictures have endless interiors. I wish you could search them as thoroughly as you can the full-size pictures. More than one's a Find the Fairies puzzle.
