(no subject)

I think somewhere in this everproliferating undergrowth I dropped the name of Paul DIFilippo, known of course to many of you, and a piece of his on "Surmimesis" in his "Plumage from Pegasus" column in F&SF.  Now a whole collection of those witty pieces is being published under that name by Cosmos (, some of them less parodic than echolalic -- Paul seems to have incorporated his favorite old bad corny wonderful sources into his capacious self.  (That title itself sounds like some corny bookchat column from Liberty magazine or old Robert Benchley radio bit.) Not to be missed by fans or otherwise of the Great Tide of popular literature past and to come.
